Well guys this is my first blog post and I'm choosing the bestest topic which has been influencing my life since my childhood and even till now I'm addicted to them .
It made my growing up a lot of fun. The 90's were the time when television was at prime in terms of cartoon shows. I don't know about you all but i grew up eagerly waiting everyday for the time when my favourite show would be on air. Aha those were the days.
Each Sunday morning i would be glued to the television set and would be watching Looney tunes goofiness or Courage bravely saving Muriel ( Jeez that show gave me creeps) or Ash carrying pikachu on his shoulders going on another adventure and countless more.
However i recently found out that those shows had some hidden meanings (kinda wierd) which i didn't even cared about when i was a child. But since i have found those out , i would like to share them with you all.
And i'm pretty sure it will BLOWWWWWW YOUR MIND.............
Lets start with my personal favourite COURAGE THE not so COWARDLY DOG
- The theories behind Courage are really interesting. There is a certain theory out there that the show is basically from the viewpoint of a dog , who considers anything from outside his home a threat. If you think about it, a dog never leaves their home, so Courage visions his house as being in the middle of Nowhere because he doesn't know what's out there, and all strangers who come knocking are evil beings who only want to kill his owners.
- But my personal favourite theory behind the show, is that Courage is Cerberus, who lives in Hell. Muriel represents mankind, who Courage must protect from the evils of Hell, who are characterized by the various villains we meet, like Katz (hate), Le Quack (greed), Naughty Fred (murder), etc. Eustace is Satan in this case, who rules over Hell and hates everyone and everything. Plus, this show can be mad creepy most of the time, so this theory fits perfectly.
ED, EDD N EDDY :
So, in this wierd theory, all the kids are dead. The neighbourhood they live in is Purgatory. This is why there aren't any adults in the show. And when we do see adults, we never see all of them and they don't really move. Also, all of these kids LOOK like they're dead. There's always something off about them and they have weird coloured tongues for god sake! This also explains why the setting in the show is hard to pinpoint. The theory also says that the Kanker sisters (the enemies for all the kids who abuse them constantly) are actually demons sent to Purgatory to torture them.
THE POWERPUFF GIRLS:
The three Girls — Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup — are all fractions of one host personality, whose name is unknown to the audience, but for convenience’s sake we will call her Brenda. The cause for the development of Multiple-Personality Disorder in Brenda originates from bullying in early childhood by her older brother, whose actual character is unknown to the audience, but is manifested in Brenda’s hallucinations as Mojo Jojo, the Girls greatest nemesis.
DEXTER'S LABORATORY:
THE SAMURAI JACK:
The theory with samurai jack is that it exactly happened in post-apocalyptic TOWNSVILLE ( powerpuff girls town).
THE JETSONS AND FLINTSTONES ARE TWO PORTIONS OF THE SAME SOCIETY :
I'm pretty sure you have had your mind boggled by now, I would love to read your reviews. These theories are fictional and just theories i got from net so dont worry your childhood his safe.
